collina filmproduktion GmbH

The managing director and sole proprietor of collina filmproduktion GmbH (collina film), which is located in Munich, is producer and scriptwriter Prof. Ulrich Limmer. Founded in 2002, collina film develops and produces films for the national and international cinema and television markets. With his many years of production and industry experience Ulrich Limmer works predominantly as producer and scriptwriter in close collaboration. This has resulted in award-, audience- and ratings-winning productions. Before collina film was founded Ulrich Limmer received both Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for Schtonk! and a German Film Award for The Slurb. Other awards followed after collina film was established: the Bavarian Film Award for My Magical Friend Sams as Best Children's Film, the Children's Media Award 2006 "The White Elephant" for The Robber Hotzenplotz, nominations for the Golden Camera and the Adolf Grimme Award for My Dear Fear, as well as the Bavarian Film Award for Best Actor to Edgar Selge for his performance in My Dear Fear.

Collina film is member of the German Producers Alliance.
